Namun seluruh binatang di kebun binatang Franklin Park, tempat Keyes berkerja sangat mencintainya karena kesabaran dan dedikasinya. Setelah mereka menyadari bahwa Keyes berencana berhenti kerja, mereka panik, akhirnya memutuskan untuk membuka kemampuan mereka yang mampu berbicara kepada Keyes dengan tujuan agar Keyes tidak pergi, kemudian para binatang itu memutuskan untuk mengajarinya kemampuan kepadanya agar ia tidak perlu meninggalkan perkejaannya sebagai zookeeper namun tetap dapat menemukan cinta dalam hidupnya.
